Why a clean list matters
Most keyword lists are stitched together from several exports, and each tool formats keywords differently: match-type brackets from Google Ads, capitalisation from spreadsheets, extra columns from Ahrefs or Semrush. Duplicates inflate your counts, and near-variants like “running shoes women” and “women running shoe” make it look as if you need two pages when Google treats them as one search.
Clean first, then cluster. It's faster, and the clusters come out cleaner.
Questions people ask
How do I remove duplicate keywords?
Paste the list and keep "Remove exact duplicates" on. Turn on "Merge word-order and plural variants" to also collapse phrases like "running shoes women" and "women running shoe", which Google usually treats as the same search.
Will it change my keywords?
Only in the ways you switch on: lowercasing, trimming spaces, stripping punctuation and match-type symbols, and removing lines by length or by negative words. The removed lines are listed so you can check them.
Can I clean lists exported from Ahrefs, Semrush or Keyword Planner?
Yes. Paste the keyword column, or whole rows: "Keep only the first column" drops everything after the first comma or tab, such as volume and difficulty columns.
Is there a size limit?
It comfortably handles tens of thousands of lines; everything runs in your browser.
